Uniform

Children at Pawlett Primary School Academy are required to wear the school uniform which is red, grey and white. We believe that by wearing uniform the children develop a sense of pride in and identify with their school. We encourage all children to look smart during their time at school. Although items branded with our school logo are preferred, generic items are acceptable if they fit the description specified.

All uniform with a school logo on can be purchased from Price and Buckland (P&B) via their website https://www.pbuniform-online.co.uk/pawlettprimary

School uniform should include:

Red Sweatshirt/Cardigan with school logo

White polo shirt

Grey trousers/shorts

Grey pinafore dress/skirt

Summer dress in red and white checks

Black, grey or red tights

Black, grey or white socks

Black school shoes (or sandals in the summer)

P.E kit should include:

Red T-shirt with the school logo

Black shorts

Black daps/trainers

(PE kit should be kept in a named PE bag)

Forest School:

Waterproof clothing

Wellies

KS2 Swimming

Swimming trunks/one peice costume (no Bermuda shorts or bikinis)

Swimming hat for Pupils with hair that is longer than shoulder length

All children will also need a book bag, preferably with the school logo on.

Shoes should be sensible style with an appropriate style heel which allows children to walk and run in school safely. Children should always have an appropriate coat and are encouraged to wear a sun hat during the summer months.

Children are not allowed to wear jewellery to school in case it gets lost or damaged. We believe that the safest place for jewellery and personal possessions is at home. If a child has pierced ears then studs may be worn. These should be removed or covered with earring tape during PE. We would not expect to see children with dyed hair or with ‘extreme’ haircuts/styles.

All clothes and personal belongings, including water bottles, should be clearly marked with the childs name, preferably using sewn in or iron on labels.

Pre-Loved Uniform

We have plenty of preloved uniform available. Please ask if you require anything. If you have old uniform that no longer fits your child, please donate it to the school to support others.
